The finishing touch to your grooming routine is now here. Our new Round Brush allows you to achieve a refined appearance for both your beard and hair—just use with a little heat from a blow-dryer to get your unruly hairs into uniform position. Sporting a premium wood handle and 100% boar’s hair bristles, this is the perfect brush to elevate your look to polished perfection.
What makes boar's hair better than synthetic brushes? The surface of each bristle is scaly and draws dust and excess product from the hair as you use it. The bristles also stimulate the natural oils (sebum) present in the scalp, and draws them along the hair shafts, essential for keeping hair clean, healthy, shiny, and protected.
To maximize the efficacy of your new brush, we recommend cleaning it every month. To clean, simply wash the bristles only with light soapy water and rinse. For quick washes, a simple rinse will work. Towel dry and allow the brush to air dry overnight.
To style your beard:
Starting with a wet to damp beard, comb through your beard starting at the ends first, then work your way toward your face. This will allow you to gently detangle your beard without causing knots to become tighter and harder to get out. Once your beard is tangle-free, take your Round Brush and hold it parallel to the ground in one hand, and have a blow-dryer in the other. Twist the brush downward in your beard while simultaneously running the blow-dryer at a low heat from roots to ends. As your beard dries with the heat of the blow-dryer, it should produce a shiny, straight look. Finish the look and fight heat damage by applying a dime-sized amount of Beard Oil. Make sure to work the oil into your skin and onto the ends of your beard. The result will be a shiny, healthy, smooth beard.
To style your hair:
Starting with wet to damp hair, comb through your hair starting at the ends first, then work your way toward your scalp. This will allow you to gently detangle your hair without causing knots to become tighter and harder to get out. Once your hair is tangle-free, take your Round Brush and twist your hair into the brush (be careful not to wrap your hair all the way around the brush). Then, hit it with some air from a blow-dryer on low-heat. Continue the twisting motion until the section of hair is dry. If you need more volume: focus the brush and air on the roots of your hair. This will give your hair a bit more lift. If a straight style is what you’re after, hold the brush parallel to the ground and focus the blow-dryer on the ends of your hair. Then, use some Styling Balm to work your hair to the desired look.
